The Punch Bowl is now open!

Our newest venue opened it's doors this week and we've got the full lowdown of what to expect...

The Punch Bowl is located in the heart of the Crookes community and we're bringing our wealth of experience in the hospitality industry to reinvent the venue. How are we doing this? By asking the simple question; what makes a good pub?

From the food and drink, to the look and atmosphere, everything at The Punch Bowl has been carefully accounted for by our team.

Interior designer Paul Carruthers has taken the lead on the impressive refurbishment project. Bringing an individuality to the venue, he said ‘the interior will be a reflection of the restored character of the venue, the nature of the community and the personality of the company. So, a mixture of antique, mid-century, graphic design and contemporary art - my job is to make that mixture flow and, as I've suggested, above be comfortable with itself.’

Whether you’re after a vibrant boozer for after-work drinks, somewhere to enjoy a long lunch with friends or cosy stop off for a Sunday roast; there will be a fantastic range of food and drink options at The Punch Bowl. Expect fresh, seasonal dishes made in-house by our talented chefs and an extensive drinks menu along with kegged beers and hand pull ales, gins and other spirits, head over to their website and have a look at the full menus online.

The Punch Bowl General Manager, Jonathan Kay, is a True North veteran, having worked in the industry for over 10 years. When asked about his thoughts on Crookes’ latest pub, he said ‘The Punch Bowl is a great place to meet up with friends and family in a lively and welcoming pub. We will have some great cask ales, craft beer options and a variety of cocktails! Plus, we’ve got incredible views over Sheffield from our function room – so you can even host your own private events with us.’
