Pie Week is back at True North

If there’s one thing that True North venues are known for, it’s a love for great food! Anyone that has visited one of the iconic South Yorkshire venues will know all about the amazing grub served up at pubs and eateries like The Broadfield and Riverside Kelham. This March, the chefs and staff at True North venues will be crafting some delicious new pastry-covered concoctions in celebration of National Pie Week.

 

Whether you’re a fan of the classic steak pie or you prefer an animal-friendly alternative, you’ll have plenty to choose from this March. In addition to the regular menu, True North venues will be creating unique, one-off specials that use the best locally-sourced ingredients.

To mix things up and a little more fun to National Pie Week this year, some of the venues will be hosting competitions and challenges so that followers can get involved. The Blue Stoops, The Milton Arms and The Crown & Anchor are asking customers to suggest exciting new pie recipes which will be made and sold throughout Pie Week.

 

Sheffield-based venues The York, The Broadfield and The Waggon & Horses are hosting a tri-pie contest in which one of the venues will be crowned the pie king. There are plenty of ways to get involved and win a special reward.
