School Dinners week at True North

Join us from the 13th-19th of February for a walk down memory lane.

We all remember wolfing down cheese flan and beans- followed by chocolate sponge and pink custard that felt like it was the size of a duvet – before running outside to play.

We want to bring back the feeling of peering down the lunch line to see if chips are on the menu and begging miss for an extra slice of cornflake tart – that’s why our chefs will be serving up their tasty takes on those (mostly) fondly thought of school dinners.

Head down to The Riverside to take your tastebuds back in time with their sausage, cheese & bean pie served up with mash (and a few more beans for good measure) or, maybe, give their cheese & tomato flan a go - served with a good old portion of chips. All rounded off with apple crumble and custard (what else!).

Or, wander into Nether Edge and try The Broadfield's vegan version of Turkey Twizzlers 'Furkey Twizzlers and some classic sponge cake with sprinkles and pink custard.
