True North Brew Co is raising money for St Luke’s Hospice and Barnsley hospice patients this Christm

Since opening the doors of its first venue, True North Brew Co has placed itself at the heart of the community in Sheffield and Barnsley. The Yorkshire-born company has played a key role in numerous local projects, community festivals and charity events.

On the lead up to Christmas this year, True North venues will be raising money in order to provide the patients of St Luke’s Hospice and Barnsley Hospice with delicious, hot meals. These donations will come from the sale of special food and drink items which means customers will know their money is helping out a great cause.

Krissie Akrill from True North Brew Co has a long-standing relationship with both of these organisations and has played a big part in the fundraising campaign. She said, “It’s amazing to work for a company that helps the local community and raise money for good causes. Here at True North, we’re passionate about good food and this Christmas, we want to share that passion with the patients at St Luke’s Hospice and Barnsley Hospice. We aim to raise as much as possible over the coming weeks to provide as many hot meals as we can.”

Each venue will be taking £1 from each purchase of selected food or drink items in order to raise as much as possible. Customers can find out more about the specific items on each venue’s Facebook page or by enquiring with staff. The money will be raised over the next three weeks so the total amount can be donated in time for Christmas.
