Extension to safety measures from Monday 19th July.

As legal restrictions are lifted and the responsibility of how to keep our staff and customers safe is shifted to us we need to review our operations and put in what we believe to be the best systems and processes.

At the forefront of our minds is the personal responsibility we all still have to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 particularly at a time when cases are continuing to rise and a proportion of the population are still yet to receive both jabs. With a reasonably young workforce, it's incredibly important that we keep measures in place which will protect them.

From the 19th July, ten of our sites will be moving to a hybrid style of service which sees the re-introduction of ordering at the bar alongside our existing table and APP ordering system. In these venues, we will still encourage customers to order at their table where possible to help reduce social contact. Once you have been served your drink we request that you move away from the bar.

For some venues, it's not the right time to re-introduce bar service and we'll be sticking with table service for a bit longer. Although harder work for us we've really enjoyed this style of service and think our customers do too.

We'll be keeping both styles of operation under review and will amend as and when necessary. We'll still be taking bookings and will also have even more space now for walk-ins.

Regardless of the venue, you're visiting there are some things that will be consistent across all our sites:-

  • Our staff will still be wearing masks and we'd encourage our customers to do the same when in contact with people outside of their group. We expect everybody to respect personal choice in this area.

  • We'll be keeping the high standards of cleaning you've come to expect.

  • Please continue to use the hand sanitiser, made in our own distillery!

  • NHS testing kits are provided for all staff.

  • More seating in venues.

  • Track and Trace QR codes at entrances for those who wish to check in.

  • We're still smiling!! You can't see it through the mask but trust us despite the extra miles walked and constant changes we still love what we do.

  • Increased ventilation and air-conditioning.

  • Incentivising our staff to receive both jabs by offering a voucher to spend in our venues once done.

  • Larger groups are now welcome.

We appreciate that for some the measures might still feel a bit restrictive and for others may be a step too far. We know we can't please everybody in this situation and so, for now, we ask that everybody respects the rules in place and is considerate to other customers and our staff. Trust us that nobody wants a return to 'normal' more than us but we believe a cautious approach is required.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
