A Month-Long Celebration of Sheffield's Independent Venues

We're back this September with another Sheffield Half Pint Marathon, bringing together great beer, independent venues and fundraising for our fantastic charity partner, Sheffield Mind.

Explore some of Sheffield's best pubs, taprooms and bars, discovering new favourites and celebrating everything that makes our city's independent scene so special.

Pick up a sticker card from a participating venue from 1st September and take part at your own pace. Every official Half Pint Marathon beer sold will see 25p donated to Sheffield Mind.

Whether you're taking on the full marathon or just a few stops along the way, we can't wait to welcome you for another month of Sheffield pride, great venues and good times.

Getting involved is easy – no sign-up, just show up and sip!

1. Start your journey
Pop into any of the participating venues from 1st September and pick up your sticker book.

This is your Half Pint Passport – don’t lose it!

2. Visit the venues

Throughout the month, explore Sheffield and visit as many venues as you like. Each one will add a sticker to your card when you pop in for a drink.

3. Enjoy a drink

In each venue, order a half pint of one of the official Half Pint Marathon beers – 25p from each one sold will be donated by the venue to Sheffield Mind.

Prefer a different drink? No problem – just pop 25p into the donation tin and enjoy whatever you fancy.

4. Half or Full Marathon

Visit 15 venues to complete a half marathon or visit all 30 to earn your full marathon bragging rights.
Once you’ve hit your target, show your completed map at any venue to claim your limited-edition 2026 illustrated print.
