Brewing Change: Celebrating International Women’s Day with a Special Collaboration Brew

On 8th March, in honour of International Women’s Day 2025, True North Brew Co proudly participated in the International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day (IWCBD), organised by Women on Tap CIC.

Team members from True North venues and Head Office joined head brewer Dean Hollingworth to get hands-on in the brewing process. They were joined by inspiring guests, including Jules Gray—owner of Hop Hideout and founder of Sheffield Beer Week—and ambassadors from the Sheffield charity Mums In Need.

This special beer was brewed with community impact in mind, with money from every pint sold donated to Mums In Need—a local charity supporting mothers and children experiencing post-separation abuse. Their work is vital in empowering survivors and advocating for long-term change.

Our brilliant in-house designer Laura Brannagan, who also participated in the brew day, created the vibrant, bold artwork featured on the cans and beer mats, making this brew a visual treat as well as a delicious one.
