A True North guide to Sheffield Beer Week

We know Sheffield Beer Week is one of the most eagerly anticipated weeks of the year, so we've pulled out all the stops to make our events extra special!

Many of our venues have chosen to participate in this year's event, find out what they've got planned below.

Riverside Kelham

SQUAWK Tap Takeover 11th-17th March Head down to celebrate Sheffield Beer Week with one of the best breweries that Manchester has to offer! For one week only, they'll be showcasing 6 keg and 7 cask lines from SQUAWK Brewing Co, which will be on rotation throughout the week. They'll also be hosting a Meet The Brewer event on Friday 16th March from 6pm, so make sure to head down early to secure your spot - they're expecting a busy one! The Waggon & Horses

Ilkley & Tiny Rebel Tap Takeover 11th-17th March Celebrate Sheffield Beer Week with The Waggon, as they join forces with two of the most exciting breweries you can find!

They'll be showcasing a stellar (if you'll pardon the pun) line up of keg, cask and bottled beers all week. Come and try Ilkley's 10th birthday celebration beer, in collaboration with Tiny Rebel. Meet Ilkley's Head Brewer on Saturday 16th March - times to be confirmed!

The York

The Brew Foundation Tap Takeover 11th-17th March

Join them throughout Sheffield Beer Week, as they join forces with The Brew Foundation to provide a range of stellar beers! Come and sample their finest cask offerings, which include favourites, such as: First Light Hop & Glory Pop Free Beer Little Bitter C-Bomb They'll also be showcasing some of our favourite Thornbridge selections, in the shape of: AM:PM, Jaipur and Green Mountain . Whether you're wanting to try something new or settle for a firm favourite, we'll be sure to have something on offer for everyone. Head down throughout this week where they'll have all of the above on rotation!

True North Curator's Club - Sheffield Beer

14th March

Discover what it means to brew excellent beer. Learn about the process and get a chance to try authentic Sheffield beers, pales and stouts. This is a unique Curator's Club event in which you will learn more about the process of brewing beer and how the vibrancy of Sheffield has produced some of the best craft drinks in the country. Complimentary beer flights will be supplied on arrival so you can really get the taste for what we're talking about.
