Something new is arriving in Barnsley town centre this Christmas.
This festive season, we’re opening the doors to the True North Christmas Tipi – a cosy Nordic-inspired winter retreat right in the heart of Barnsley.
Think twinkling lights, a central fire pit, rustic tables, cosy throws and an après-ski feel. A place to escape the cold, grab a drink with friends and soak up a little extra festive spirit throughout December.
And whether you’re planning ahead or just passing by, there’ll be plenty of reasons to step inside.
More than just a place for a Christmas drink
Throughout December, the Tipi will host a full programme of festive events, including live music every Friday and Saturday, Christmas wreath making, festive craft workshops, brass band evenings and a special performance from Barnsley Rock Choir.
Or simply drop in for a drink, find a spot around the fire and enjoy the atmosphere. You don’t need to be attending an event or party to come and see us.
Planning the Christmas party?
The Tipi is also available for Christmas parties and group celebrations, giving you something a little different from the traditional Christmas night out. Our Christmas party packages combine food and drinks, with food available from local Market Kitchen vendors. Premium – £31pp - Two premium drink vouchers + £15 food voucher
And if you’re joining us on a Friday or Saturday, there’ll be live music to keep the evening going.
